WHERE – Smoky Valley Arts & Folklife Center, 114 1/2 S. Main, Lindsborg, KS 67456

Smoky Valley Arts & Folklife Center will host its fourth annual Community Arts & Crafts Exhibition May 31st – June 30th Friday, Saturday, & Sundays 1pm-5pm or by appointment.

A community reception for the artists is scheduled for Sunday, June 30th from 2-4 p.m. at the center.

Last year’s exhibition was a lively mix of traditional to contemporary art offering a glimpse at the unique ways in which each person pursues self-expression, according to SVAFC chair Emily Howe. The center featured the works of nearly 40 area artists and craftsmen during the exhibition.

“The exhibition is a fitting tribute to the creative spirit of our community and the artisans among us,” Howe said. “I expect this year’s exhibition will be just as diverse and interesting.”
