Current Exhibition

Smoky Valley Arts and Folklife Center will host,  “a seat among the absent”, an exhibition of works by Sven Johnson, from Friday, May 3th through Sunday, May 26th, 2024. 

L.H. Sven Johnson, Lindsborg, attended the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (1996-97) and received a B.A. in Art from the University of Iowa (2000). He has worn many hats throughout the years, including a 6-year stint as a designer and builder of crates for the Art Institute of Chicago. 

Sven has had solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Illinois, Indiana and Kansas.
